Outline
The house responds to the Balinese theme with a three-dimensional composition and materials used in Japan and Southeast Asia, such as bamboo and reeds. 6m square grids are arranged horizontally and vertically in three planes, in the center of which there is a 6,150mm high atrium with two levels. The outdoor deck, bedrooms, living and dining rooms are arranged to face this atrium. The outdoor deck, bedrooms, and living and dining rooms are arranged to face this atrium. Along the openings of each room, bamboo screens made of ladder are installed to adjust the lighting.
