House in Tsubukuimamachi
bookmark_outline
Toru Shimokawa
Outline
Built in the suburbs of Kurume City, where there is a lot of traffic, the house is covered on four sides by RC walls and has a courtyard to let in stable light. The porcelain tiles on the floor, which were baked especially for this house, the nyato wood that covers the walls of the dining room, and the wooden lattice of the entrance door all contribute to the strength of the structure and the attention to detail of the materials.
