This is a house for an elderly couple in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. The house was designed to be barrier-free in terms of both planning and thermal environment, and to provide a final home for the elderly by using metal fittings that are easy to use and furniture that is easy to carry. It also provides a place for local people.
