Outline
This is a renovation of two of the three row houses (new: Omoya) and a separate building (new: Hanare) on a non-reconstructible flagpole site deep in an alley off Nishinotoin-dori. The Omoya is a continuous one-room house that extends from the fourth room with an earthen floor to the third room with a kitchen counter, the second and first rooms, which are relaxing spaces connected to the garden, and the upper room on the second floor. Hanare is divided into three rooms: the earthen room on the first floor, and the itama and tatami room on the second floor, and the two wings are connected by a deck on the second floor.
