The building is located in a second-class district in the center of Tokyo. The building is set back from the road and site boundaries, and is connected to the wooded area on the west side by greenery planted on the base. The balcony on the south side of the house, which is dug into the ground on two levels, controls light and privacy and can also be transformed into an interior space with an external screen.
