Outline
This two-story wooden house stands on a site with vast terraced rice paddies to the south and west. A series of gate-shaped frames create a north-south orientation on the first floor and an east-west orientation on the second floor, creating a skip floor structure. The openings on the second floor, which give the impression of a facade, are made of FIX glass and wooden doors that open in one direction, bringing ambient sound and light into the room.
