Akio Kamiya/AKIO KAMIYA ARCHITECT & ASSOCIATES
Outline
Reconstruction of a dilapidated house. The trees that had originally grown in the garden were kept as much as possible, and the exterior wall on the garden side was made to goose the ground so that the relationship with the garden could be built from various distances. In addition to shoji (paper sliding doors), sutra wood doors are installed in the openings to create a variety of light and dark spaces and to allow the passage of sight.
