Outline
Including the work space of the owner and his wife, who are musicians, each of the 14 necessary functions is placed in a box and configured by piling them up while creating various gaps. The gaps are used as spaces for top lights and balconies, and the interior is loosely connected to the rest of the house, while still keeping the shape of the box in mind.
