Outline
The house consists of a residence for a silver generation couple, their son and daughter, an office and a piano hall. The dilapidated part of the existing two-family house was removed and reconstructed. The existing part houses the sons' area and office, and the new part houses the parents' household, common space, and piano hall. The plan develops in a spiral shape around the courtyard. The spiral roof on the upper part of the new building serves as a rooftop garden that also serves as a soundproofing for the piano room, and is connected to the deck roof to connect the family's flow lines.
