NAOYA KAWABE
Outline
On a site facing the slope of Gokurakuji Temple in Kamakura, a one-story and a two-story volume of almost the same area are arranged at an angle, and connected by a roof of 2,700mm in height. While the interior is continuous like a single room, it is gently divided by manipulating the scale of the ceiling height, the position and size of the openings, and the proportions of the space in consideration of the relationship with the surrounding environment.
