Outline
This is a house for a couple and their child in a subdivision of mixed old and new houses in northern Shiga Prefecture. The building is set back and arranged in a gantry shape, and finished with fair-faced concrete and coal-brick tiles. The interior features a living room with diffused light from the upper openings, and a dining room that leads to a private terrace surrounded by exterior and boundary walls.
