This small house is located at the end of a narrow cul-de-sac. A steel-frame structure was chosen to minimize the amount of materials because of the restrictions on carrying in vehicles. The staircase, laundry room, storage, handrails, toilet, etc. are set up as if they were furniture, creating a sense of scale with a physicality that goes back and forth between the scale of architecture and furniture.
