Outline
This is a renovation of a machiya, a wooden house from the late Taisho period, purchased by the builder, a collector of Art Nouveau furniture and objects. The iron frame, which also serves as structural reinforcement, mixes the wooden machiya with Art Nouveau furniture. In the center of the house, a stone garden with a glass eave protruding from the iron frame is placed.
