Outline
Renovation of a farmhouse located in a rural landscape. The dining room and kitchen, which had been turned into a wooden floor through repeated renovations, were turned back into an earthen floor, and the earthen corridor leading from the entrance was turned into a kokuban wall. The choice of materials, such as diatomite walls, sliding doors made of Abe Eishiro Japanese paper, and the porch floor painted with persimmon tannin, brings out the charm of the structure.
