Outline
The two almost equally sized wings of the house contain rooms of various proportions, creating a room that changes with the movement of the sun. In the gap between the two white-finished wings is a stairwell made of fair-faced concrete with different thicknesses of cedar board formwork. The presence of the stairwell, which has a different wetness temperature from that of the two wings, gives a physical sensation of crossing different environments when moving around the house, even though one is indoors.
