Outline
This is a renovation of a 40-year-old RC resort apartment in Gotemba City. The partition walls, floor, and ceiling, which had deteriorated due to humidity, were removed, and the area was finished so that the bedroom, earthen floor, LD, and playroom spread out in an L-shape with the 600mm square RC pillar in the center. The layout of the rooms, the use of a sunroom to bring in light, and the use of the bedroom as a detached space give depth to the one-room space.
