This is a renovation of the second floor of a three-story house. The east side of the house is close to the neighboring house, and we wanted to create a space that is neither closed nor open to the outside. Therefore, a wall with many openings smaller than the existing openings was set up 250mm inward, creating an ambiguous sense of distance through the way light circulates, the line of sight to the outside, and the objects placed on the shelves.
