Under the direction of Mr. Mitsushima, a "first-year architect," professionals from many fields, including lumberjacks, carpenters, structural engineers, plasterers, textile designers and coordinators, and painters, gathered to create "Minna no Ie "Everyone's House". The interior consists of a series of public, semi-public, and private spaces from the dojo and study, where the students freely gather, to the residential section. In response to the situation where various personalities live together, a composition was taken in which a small roof, in scale with the surrounding townscape, is hung over each room.
