MIURASHIN ARCHITECT+ASSOCIATES
Outline
The house is located about 5 meters up from the front road cut through the hill. It is composed of rectangular units made of L-shaped steel framed in different scales, arranged in the shape of a paddy field, and stacked on top of each other. By controlling the scale of the building through changes in the height direction, through the view, and by making the sashes narrower and the width of the stairs slightly smaller, the depth of the building is made to feel greater than its area.
