The first floor consists of a café cube open to the street and a private dining cube, and the second floor is nested between these two volumes. 4 high side lights on the second floor let in sunlight, and the glass wall of the guest room (café side) softly illuminates the café like a lantern. The second floor is illuminated by four high side lights, and the glass wall of the guest room (cafe side) softly illuminates the cafe like a lantern.
