House in Kizoro

Atelier Masuda
Outline
The house was designed to provide the owner, a single person, with enough space for his hobbies such as an aquarium, a beehive and potted plants. From the entrance to the viewing platform that welcomes the owner when he returns home, a long line of traffic passes through the interior and exterior, and arched bedrooms and benches create places to stay along the way. The arches, which are used throughout, are free from any structural meaning, and are pursued purely as a form.
