Outline
In response to the client's request for a bright and airy courtyard, we sought a new way of creating a courtyard that enriches the relationship between the spaces, rather than simply closing it off to the outside world. In order to make the best use of the circulation created by the courtyard in the spatial composition, the house is built as a one-story building, with four "rooms" of different sizes separated by L-shaped walls, and a "courtyard" in the gap between the L-shaped walls. By doing so, it is intended to create a diverse relationship not only between the "rooms" and the "courtyard" but also between the "rooms" and each other, and between the "rooms" and the "courtyard" and the surrounding environment.
