Outline
The site is located at the foot of a mountain in a natural forest in Musashino. The building's volume is kept low so that it can nestle against the mountain. The connection between inside and outside is considered in five layers: nature, artificial garden, semi-outdoor space, open interior and private interior, and each of them is composed to interlace. The interior space is developed in the form of a skip, taking advantage of the 1m difference in level between the approach and the ground level of the site.
