Outline
The house is located on a hill with a view of the Shinjuku subcenter buildings to the east. In order to realize a full-area opening in a wooden structure, curved laminated wood is arranged in a Y-shape instead of a load-bearing wall with a sleeve wall; 120mm square curved members are installed from the second floor to the roof beam, and two 120x60mm timbers are installed from the first floor to the roof, sandwiching the post and beam to solve a difficult joint.
