Outline
The house is constructed with "fin frames" made of 40 x 235 mm thin flat Japanese cedar wood assembled in a gable shape. When frames of this cross-sectional size are arranged at a pitch of 300 mm in the girder direction, a space with a maximum span of 6.6 m can be secured. The pillars, which are determined according to the planning, are offset from the center of the gable frames and, together with the pitches at which they fall, create a random appearance. The pillars are also used as storage shelves.
