Outline
In order to create a "free cross-section" that creates a three-dimensional spatial connection, 14 floors are set at various levels within the 9.5m high volume. The spaces are gently connected, and various scenes of daily life overlap each other. The floor's sense of floating is accentuated by grouping the bearing walls around the perimeter, using thin post columns (44mm square solid steel) to support the floors, and arranging them at a pitch of 1,820mm.
