NAGAISHI ARCHITECTURE
Outline
By slightly changing the connection and scale of the nLDK, we attempt to change the quality of the space. The spiral staircase connects the first and second floors, which are very different in scale, and when you climb it, you can see the rooms on either side, but visually it looks as if the corridor is a room. In the sub-floor space at the end of the corridor, the finishes of the ceiling and floor are reversed, and the living room is separated from the sub-floor space by a fixture, creating a space that seems to be separated from the first and second floors. There is a discrepancy between what is imagined from the outside and the reality, which encourages us to enjoy the unexpectedness.
