YOSHIAKI OYABU ARCHITECTS
Outline
This project is located on a flagpole lot, which is unique to urban residential areas. On a 3m wide pole, a one-room detached house and a covered parking space for one car are planned. The slope of expanded metal, which looks like an extension of the road, bends back and forth in a layered manner, connecting the main house, the detached house, and their roofs in a gentle spiral. The slope is partially transformed with steps, so that it plays the role of a piece of furniture, and as a whole it becomes an architecture like a playground equipment.
