Duplex House in Ikegami
bookmark_outline
Outline
This is a completely separate two-family house. In order to ensure constructability and rationality, the size of the building was secured to the limit of the building-to-land ratio, and it consists of three stories with skip floors, with the first and second floors as the parent household and the second and third floors as the child household. The design and management of the building was carried out under the nominated subcontractor system (NSC), which designates craftsmen to carry out the work under the supervision of the construction company. The subcontractors appointed for this project, headed by Watanabe Tomiyama Komuten, include formwork carpenters, sheet metal workers, and joiners and furniture.
