Outline
The house is built on an irregular site with a large difference in elevation where there was an existing earth retaining structure whose safety could not be confirmed. The first floor is made of reinforced concrete, and the second floor is made of wood, which is easy to construct. For the concrete exterior wall on the side of the existing earth retaining wall, the existing sloping earth retaining wall was used as a discarded formwork to create a wide open space.
