Outline
The entrance hall divides the large volume containing the living room into two smaller volumes containing the tea room and study. The 6m square opening in the living room faces the cherry blossom trees on the southeast side of the building, giving the plan an irregular shape and a distinctive appearance. By using a lot of natural materials inside and out and changing the finishes in the right places, the intention was to make the various elements appear diverse and complex as they are.
