Koizumi Atelier
Outline
This is an experimental house created by Nippon Oil Corporation and Koizumi Atelier in collaboration with the aim of creating a zero CO2 emission house. It is an attempt to reduce CO2 emissions by promoting the effective use of energy in five main areas: high airtightness and high heat insulation, passive design, efficient use of fossil energy, energy-conscious living, and solar power generation. A feature of this project is that it does not rely solely on equipment with high environmental performance, such as fuel cells and photovoltaic systems, but also features a comprehensive environmental consideration plan that includes the design of the house and the lifestyle of the residents in cooperation with architects.
