Outline
A weekend residence located in Minami Boso. The location is blessed with a natural environment with rice paddies in the surrounding area and mountains in the distance. For this reason, the shape of the building, with its high floor, gently sloping roof, and deep eaves, and the installation of equipment systems such as photovoltaic panels, rainwater utilization tanks, and Eco-Cute, as well as the extensive use of natural materials, are designed to maximize the use of natural energy. The interior is a large one-room space, and the large opening on the south side is intended to cut out the landscape from the rice fields in the near view to the mountains in the far view, as if to make the familiar scenery look fresh.
