Outline
Renovation of the house into a two-family house to live together with the children's household due to changes in the parent's household. Existing objects were used to create an insulated bay window with shoji screens, a sliding stile and rail door, and a window in the kitchen door with glass. In addition, in order to create a new sense of distance that did not exist in the existing house, a hut covered with cedar boards called the "family room" is attached to the balcony.
