Outline
A black two-story volume with the same finish on the exterior and interior walls is inserted into a single-story volume in which two rectangles are displaced. Although it is a one-room building without any fittings, the space created by the displacement creates a line of flow and blocks the line of sight so that the privacy of each room can be secured. In this simple composition, the building has two characteristics: a gentle connection through which wind and sight can pass, and a place for each.
