Outline
This is a two-family farmhouse located in the middle of a large field. In view of the harsh winter climate, the function of the house for field work, the family relationship between the parent and child households, and the location of existing houses and windbreaks, the house consists of three house-shaped volumes: a volume for the parent and child households, which is divided into two halves in the shape of a c, and a common building that connects the two halves and functions as a buffer zone during the winter. In the front of the common building, a courtyard is created, which creates a distance between the two buildings of the parent and child households, and also functions as a common space for working in the fields. It is an answer to the demand of the land for a place with inevitability.
