Yukio Asari/ LOVE ARCHITECTURE
Outline
Located in the east of the Tama Hills, the house has one basement floor and one above-ground floor of RC construction and two above-ground floors of wood construction. The gate-shaped concrete frames of different heights are crossed at 90 degrees to form a sloping structure. The concrete and wooden structures are combined in a three-dimensional manner, with floors, walls, and ceilings on three levels, and openings, stairwells, and staircases are located in the cracks between the two structures. In the crack between the two structures, there is an opening, a stairwell, and a staircase. The structure and composition of the building match the composition of the plan, creating a unified space without partitions.
