On a site of only 46m2, we required a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a guest room, a terrace, a garage, a bathroom, a toilet, a storage room, and a single room for rent. Rather than having multiple functions in a single room, a method of satisfying the functions was adopted by reducing each of the constituent units. The reduced units are loosely connected so that they do not feel cramped.
