CASE DESIGN STUDIO / Yokota Norio + Kawamura Noriko
Outline
"The dining room, living room, Japanese-style room, and courtyard are arranged in the shape of a rice paddy on the first floor, and a cross-shaped atrium is created above them. While the rooms above and below or facing each other are independent, the presence and form of other rooms affect the spatiality of the structure. The rooms on the second floor, which float in the air, are suspended from large steel beams.
