Yasuda Koichi Laboratory+Yasuda Atelier
Outline
Three concrete cells and two wooden-roofed cells between them. The five cells are combined to form "cellular", a residence for a husband and wife who have many interests. In each cell, the functions of the husband's studio, the wife's tea room, living room, bedroom, and water supply are distributed. As a part of the practical design education in the university laboratory, four students are in charge of each cell, and the process of free design, integration and adjustment is carried out.
