Outline
This house was built at the request of the builder who wanted to display his collection of Japanese armor. The house is built on a slope and is approached from the second floor level. The entrance hall is lined with a collection of armor, emphasizing the Japanese taste, and leads to a Japanese-style room in the back. The first floor, on the other hand, is a spacious, open and bright space. In order to satisfy the conflicting requirements of south-facing views and privacy, the large louvers installed in the gently curved openings were inspired by the bellows-like layers of armor.
