KEN YOKOGAWA ARCHITECT & ASSOCIATES
Outline
The house is built like a small steel member on a narrow site with a frontage of just over 3 meters at the core. The main room has a ceiling height of nearly 8 meters, and a tatami mat stage is built to float on the ceiling. The tatami stage is aligned with the height of the treetops of the cherry blossom trees in front of the house, so that visitors can enjoy the cherry blossom viewing season.
