Outline
By inserting an intermediate layer of glass between the first and second floors, which is designed to avoid the line of sight of the neighboring houses, it was possible to increase the spatial volume of the upper and lower floors. This intermediate layer not only lets in an abundance of natural light from outside, but also works effectively as a buffer space that gently connects the first and second floors.
