Outline
The first floor is a garage and shop, the second and third floors are the client's work spaces with their own dining rooms, and the fourth and fifth floors are residential. The east-west frontage is narrow, and the south side faces a wide road with heavy traffic, so the first three floors have relatively closed facades to prevent noise. The first three floors have a relatively closed facade to prevent noise, while the north side overlooks a large forest of temples and shrines, so the facade has large openings on each floor. Although the site is small and narrow, the building is designed to have as much space as possible from north to south to reduce the sense of blockage.
