HIROYUKI ARIMA+URBAN FOURTH
Outline
Without creating a positive continuity with the road in front of the house, which is heavily trafficked by cars, a courtyard (exterior) named "LB (LightBox)" is created inside the house, and large and small rooms (spaces) are developed around it. In the design process, Arima drew a development MAP, which is a series of cross-sectional and development drawings. As can be seen from the MAP, the user's "action" is written on the MAP, and the possibilities of the space are examined.
