A house with a studio and a gallery for a painter. The site used to be a rice paddy and is open on all four sides. A concrete slab is floated and stones are laid around it. There is a balcony covered with FRP grating on the exterior wall, which is used as a terrace and a place for storing an outdoor motor. The studio and living room are illuminated by butterfly-shaped high side lights.
