Masahiro Harada+MAO /MOUNT FUJI ARCHITECTS STUDIO
Outline
It consists of two volumes: an L-shaped reinforced concrete volume and a "large space" surrounded by a Ro-shaped wooden frame. In the wooden part, 38 x 286 mm two-by-two timbers are lined up at a pitch of 840 mm and cover the 5.9 m high space. The concrete is finished with a sense of materiality throughout, leaving no traces of peacock and transcribing the texture of the larch plywood of the formwork.
