OAK VILLAGE WOODEN ARCHITECTURE LABORATORY
Outline
The building stands on a long east-west site in a residential area surrounded by preserved trees and other greenery. For privacy and security, the garage and studio are located on the RC first floor, and the main living rooms are located on the wooden second floor. the ceiling of the second floor is kept low and carefully selected wood is used. The second floor has a low ceiling and is made of carefully selected wood, and the exterior walls are not only piled with Ohya stone but also plastered with it, in order to harmonize with the townscape as it changes over time.
