HIDEO STSUTA/SATSUTA ARCHITECT STUDIO
Outline
This is a house for a family who chose to continue living there despite the fact that the site had to be set back due to the widening project of the road facing the house. The basic line of movement between the upper and lower floors is a home elevator, and an external staircase is installed around the sunken garden. In order to confront the harsh surrounding environment, a screen made of recycled glass and a double wall made of hot-dip galvanized phosphate treated steel are installed.
