Outline
The slope from the lush forest on the north side of the site passes directly through the site and the building, and descends toward the city on the south side. The steel-framed roof (40m long at the eaves and 160mm thick) is thin to the eye, and is designed to float on the surrounding slope. The fittings can be fully opened in the 40m long direction.
